Preventing gender-based violence

It could be happening to your work colleague, your neighbour, the barista at the café where you have your morning coffee, your family doctor… In Spain, one in ten women will experience gender-based violence at least once in their lives. Given that only 27% of victims dare to step forward and report it, half a million women in our country remain invisible.

The Ana Bella Foundation and Homuork have created this online course to help all people suffering from this scourge and to work towards a violence-free society.

What will you learn in this course?

In this course, your employees will learn to identify the signs of abuse and show empathy when helping victims break their silence. They will join the community of agents of change.

Concepts explored in this course:

  • Explaining the myth of romantic love
  • How to recognize the tactics of abuse
  • What to do if you suspect someone from your entourage is being mistreated
  • Who are the agents of change?
